GOJIJEON: Ko Soo and Shin Ha Kyun at 6.25 event
Actors Shin Ha Kyun and Ko Soo were on hand to launch a showcase for Blockbuster GOJIJEON at Taejon and Daegu on 25th June which was the day that the 6.25 war started.
Thanks to the actors’ participation, there was 100% attendance by fans of GOJIJEON despite the bad weather. Many fans turned up as early as 2 hours before the event, waiting enthusiastically in line at the rear entrance.
The GOJIJEON showcase was organised by Nate, Max Movie as well as the official GOJIJEON website. About 500 people turned up for the event. Actor Ko Soo said: “I am very happy to be able to meet fans directly and I hope the interest will continue until the film’s opening”. Shin Ha Kyun also commented that: “There is a lot of rain and I was so worried. But there are so many people here. Thank you very much”. The Korean war started on 25 June 1950 and it was especially meaningful for the showcase to be held in Taejon and Daegu on 25th June. There was a surprise segment where fans who were borned on 25th June were given presents. Fans had to show their identify cards as proof, much to everyone’s amusement.
GOJIJEON will be released on 21st July.

GOJIJEON showcase extends to Taejon-Daegu-Busan
Following its recent showcase in Seoul , the production of GOJIJEON has made its rounds to Taejon , Daegu and Busan over the weekend.
Fans from the official GOJIJEON website, Nate and Max Movie were invited to the showcase at Taejon and Daegu on 25th June. Inspite of a nationwide announcement of torrential downpour and typhoon warning, many fans turned up, bringing warmth to the dreary weather. About 500 fans filled the theatre to show their support for GOJIJEON.
Fans were happy to connect directly with actors Ko Soo and Shin Ha Kyun during the showcase. A trailer, a behind-the-scene clip and a characters’ introduction were screened. In addition, there was a surprise quiz and autographed posters, pocket diaries and T-shirts were also distributed to participants.
Ko Soo was happy and expressed his appreciation: “I am very happy to be able to meet fans directly and I hope the interest will continue until the film’s opening”. “There is a lot of rain and I was worried. But there are so many people here. Thank you very much”, said Shin Ha Kyun.
After the success in Taejon and Daegu, it is expected that the showcase will proceed to Busan on 26th June.
GOJIJEON, a story about the last battle in the Korean war which is not recorded in history, will be released on 21st July.
