"What I remember about Christmas is, I think it's better to spend it with shooting than just playing," said Ko Soo the actor. He had no other plan in his mind but to pursue his dream in acting, over his parent's objection. This situation continued for about a year, living from one audition to another audition. At that time, since Ko Soo decided to stop relying on his parent, for couple weeks he was living homeless, running out of money. Eventually, Ko Soo would be scouted from the street, did the modelling, appeared on magazines, and debuted in the music video.

Ko Soo was starring in MBC sitcom 'Jump', 'Funky Family', 'Non-stop'.
As a rookie, his acting skill was poor so senior actors silently laughed at his performances. Then came Bacchus CF with his famous tagline "We're not late, right?". The CF was so popular and people started to see his image as Ko Soo 'the pure youth'. He said that when they shot the running scene, he kept running for 20 hours to get a perfect one.
Ko Soo the Chungnam Nonsam boy and once wanted to be a soldier, finally reached stardom. People saw him as an exemplary figure and that image has written all over him.
Director Kim Min Shik said, "And still he showed his gratitude by being loyal to 'Jump', 'Funky Family' and 'Non Stop'. It was amazing."

Ko Soo appeared in KBS variety show 'Dream Team' and had some regular appearances on the show, but one time he bolted out 2,7m and made a new record. Furthermore, he held a record of 100m sprint with 12.7 seconds in high school, major in boxing and mountain biking, and he's superb in inline skating. In SBS drama 'Green Rose' he showed his famous '560-degree rotation kick' for the first time. And he did the action scene by himself with no stunts. But because of his 'clean' look, Ko Soo was frequently casting in the romantic drama than action. Since 'Dream Team' he appeared in many variety shows and even became its host.

This actrees is Ko Soo's co star in SBS 'Piano'.
Ko Soo suffered from many critics for his lack acting in 'Mother and Sister', but in 'Piano' he started to know how fun acting is.
A reporter cited Ko Soo's interview, "My favorite drama is MBC's 'One month in Seoul'." The reporter said, "There must be the second drama to be like." And he answered, "Piano".
In 'Piano' Ko Soo's work made a full image of him as an actor. It is no exaggeration to say his neat appearance as an orthodox guy who in love with her stepmother's daughter shines so bright.
In 'Piano' he showed a pure character and his skill grew along with intense emotions depicted in the drama. Ko Soo played his character amazingly, as a man who only loves one woman wholeheartedly.
Turned out in his school days, "I tried to avoid every contact with girls, even when they invited me to play," Ko Soo said. Some people are just quiet by nature and he's one of them. And when he was teenager, "It was awkward when I became friends with women" so he preferred to hang out with boys. Funny how these confessions came from an actor who perfectly portrayed his roles in many romantic dramas.
