Ko Soo, Han Hyo-joo’s New Melodrama Sets Opening Date

Korean actor Ko Soo and actress Han Hyo-joo’s romance movie has set its final local release date.
Helmed by director Jung Ki-hoon of tear-staining pic "Goodbye Mom" (2009), “Love 911” will make its premiere on December 19, the movie’s distributor NEW said in a press release Thursday.
The movie will tell a romantic story of fire fighter Gang-il [played by Ko] and female doctor Mi-soo [Han].
The pair both bear scars from their past experiences of wife's death and a medical accident. But they slowly begin to recover from their own pain after meeting each other.
Making his debut in 1998, Ko is a critically acclaimed actor known through his works "White Night" (2009), "The Haunters" (2010) and "The Frontline" (2011).
Han rose to stardom in 2009 after starring as the heroine in SBS' hit drama "Brilliant Legacy," opposite to Lee Seung-gi. She is currently promoting her film "Masquerade" alongside Lee Byung-hun.

Actors Go Soo and Han Hyo Joo’s new movie, Band Aid has set a premiere date for December 19.
The movie stars Go Soo as firefighter Kang Il who nurses a deep wound after failing to rescue his wife and Han Hyo Joo as Mi Soo, a doctor who is on the verge of being cut for a fatal mistake. The two, whose professions are centered around helping and saving the lives of others, come to meet and befriend each other as they help to nurse each other’s wounds.

Go Soo and Han Hyo-joo's 'Love 911' Will Premiere on December 19th
The movie will be a traditional romance movie, a rarity in this year’s movie scene. ‘Love 911′ will star Go Soo as the firefighter Kang-il, who withdraws inward to himself after he failed to save his own wife in a fire, and Han Hyo-joo as the doctor Mi-su, who is about to be fired from her work after a serious mistake, and how they heal each other’s past wounds with their relationship. The drama will depict the inner wounds of the two life-saving people, and how they care and heal each other from their past.
With the movie’s opening on December, the producers of the movie plan to capitalize on the movie’s high expectations, and wishes to carry the movie through Christmas and until 2013. Their confidence is boosted by favorable reviews in a preview screening, commenting that “we have seen very favorable ratings during our monitor screening, before the actual premiere of our movie, even higher than ‘All About My Wife’ and its 4.58 million box office hits”.
