Actor Go Soo has become a father.
Go Soo’s BH Entertainment confirmed initial reports that the actor’s wife, Kim Hye Yeon, had given birth to the couple’s first child on January 28.
The couple’s healthy son was born on January 28 in the gynecology department of Seoul’s Asan Hospital. Both the mother and son are said to be doing fine.

The actor was in the middle of filming his movie, The Way Home when he received the phone call his wife had gone into labor.
Go Soo then immediately left for the hospital where he was able to accompany his wife as she gave birth to their first child.
Go Soo and Kim Hye Yeon first met through a mutual friend back in 2008. They continued to date for two years before marrying in February of last year.
