INTERVIEW WITH KOSOO 
Ko Soo, a young man with a healthy image, returns to the big screen with a new movie BAEK YA HAENG after a 5-year hiatus.

He tries to maintain a friendship with the people around him, going out for drinks with them, but still keeping his own space. He is still trying to find out how to communicate better with people. Q: Is your appearance in the press conference part of the promotion propaganda?
KS: After the interview, we will determine what needs to be done – whether to appear in a variety show etc. In the first place, I am not good for variety shows. I had been on one before. I was tense. The spotlight was a bit of a problem for me.
Q: You feel the burden of exposure to spotlight even though you are an actor?
KS: Being in the spotlight in a variety show is different from being in the spotlight when you are playing a character in a scene. In a variety show, you are showing yourself, not a character. (Ko Soo is only human).
Q: To some people, Ko Soo is boring. Is there anything special about Ko Soo?
KS: I am happy with my life. But it seems there are people who are unhappy about it. I think it is difficult to empathize with that.
Q: Why did you choose BAEK YA HAENG for your comeback?
KS: There are a lot of expectations for the movie. I want to go to the cinema to see how Yohan and Miho “walk” into the audience. The first reading (of the script) was interesting. I thought it was hard work. In addition, I found it considerably difficult to express myself as Yohan. I was continually thinking of how to express myself as Yohan. The biggest challenge was to convey the sincerity of Yohan.
Q: After your discharge from the army, did your experience in the stage play help?
KS: It was very useful. There were many offers and I realized that there was a difference between a person who did not do it and a person who did it. The experience was very useful. I think I am better off doing it than not doing it. I came to like it as people in the theatrical company love to drink and have fun. I met many many people.
Q: Did this change your quiet nature?
KS: It is not that (laughs). It is not shyness. It’s just that there are different “methods” of meeting people. I do not dislike meeting people.
Q: All too soon, you are already in your 30’s. What are your thoughts on this?
KS: I think there were many changes in my mid-20’s. I have widened my scope of vision. After 20 years of insolence and greed, it is now time to adjust.
Q: You have been working non-stop, do you have a desire to be cast in more dramas?
KS: After a long break, there is certainly a desire for more work. Professionals work on one project after another. So there is a need to polish my acting ability. If you do not continue, you will not progress.

ใน variety show คุณแสดงเป็นตัวของตัวเอง ไม่ใช่ตัวละคร ( โกซู ก็เป็นเพียงคนคนหนึ่ง)

Q : คุณอายุ 30 แล้ว ความคิดของคุณเป็นอย่างไร ?
KOSOO : ผมคิดว่า มีอะไรเปลี่ยนไปหลายสิ่งตอนผมอายุ กลาง 20 ผมมองอะไรกว้างขึ้น
หลังจาก 20ปี ที่มีแต่ความอวดดี และความโลภ ตอนนี้ถึงเวลาปรับแต่งแล้วครับ
Q : คุณทำงานไม่หยุดอย่างนี้ แล้วนี่คุณยังต้องการแสดง ในละครเรื่องอื่นๆอีกหรือไม่ ?
