Ko Soo and Ryu Seung Soo provide warmth and comfort to their fellow cast mates in the harsh battlefield

 

Filming of GOJIJEON was tough as the actors had to shoot harsh combat scenes in the battlefield. But there was a show of camaraderie among the actors and crew.

3 million solders put their lives on the front line to recapture 1 cm strip of land on the map. GOJIJEON stars Chungmuro actors Shin Ha Kyun and Koo Soo and there were some behind the scene stories which warmed the hearts of many.

As it is a war movie, the actors and crew had to work in a very harsh environment. They had to endure the cold, the rain and they even had to undergo tough military training to prepare for their respective roles.

One particular heartwarming insider’s story was that of Ko Soo and Ryoo Seung Soo who came forward with warm water and dry towels for their fellow colleagues when they were both not filming. This brought warmth and comfort to those filming in the extremely cold winter weather.

Before the shooting, the actors had to go through physical and professional military training for a duration of 5 weeks. Ko Chang Seok, in particular, found the training and filming especially arduous. Most of the time while shooting the film, he trembled with cold and tears flowed. He is grateful to Ko Soo and Ryoo Seung Soo for running around and easing his pain. He is truly appreciative of their kindness.

While there were a lot of warmth and camaraderie among the lead actors and bit part actors, GOJIJEON is a dark drama which will be released on the 21st of next month.
