Ko Soo suffered thigh injury from a sharp stone while filming GOJIJEON


An MBC interview on 19th June revealed that Ko Soo suffered an injury while filming GOJIJEON.

An ambulance was always on standby at the film location of GOJIJEON. Ko Soo revealed,

“I fell on a sharp stone and injured my thigh. Had it shifted from the thigh to the side a little, it would really be a serious matter.”

This caused much laughter from his cast mates.

GOJIJEON draws the story of a person’s desperate struggle to disclose a secret of a unit during the war and the person who tries to protect it. The actors were unanimous that it would likely be a movie to end all war movies.

Ko Chang Seok: Doing GOJIJEON was difficult because of Ko Soo. Why?

During an interview with MBC Section TV on 19th June, Ko Chang Seok expressed his “displeasure” for Ko Soo.

Ko Soo had lived an isolated life during the 6 months while filming GOJIJEON. He chopped wood to build a fire and ate sweet potatoes during the shooting. Ko Chang Seok disclosed that Ko Soo was a ‘spoilsport’. “There was a chance to escape from the isolated life one day, but Ko Soo instead proposed that we go mountain climbing”, he revealed. Ko Soo is indeed a borned mountain person.

Meanwhile GOJIJEON is a story which happened during the truce negotiation in the last 2 years of the Korean war. It will be released on 21st July.
