 I MET KO SOO AT CAMBRIDGE TODAY

 

 

 

I study in Britain. I went to Cambridge with a Korean friend today. As we were walking along the street we saw a bunch of Koreans holding cameras standing around. However, there were no sight of fans in the vicinity. We were wondering which was the fashion magazine having a location shoot there. We walked near and saw a very good looking guy who looked very familiar. I asked my Korean friend whether he was a movie star. My friend said she didn’t know. In fact, I was the one who knew more Korean stars than her! In the early days, when Ko Soo was in MOTHER AND SISTER, I found him very good looking. However, there were no news of him for a long time and I gradually forgot about him. This guy in the location shoot looked like him. I then asked my friend whether he was Ko Soo.

 My friend approached him and asked him in Korean: “Are you a movie star?”

 He answered in a humble manner: “No, I am here on holiday”.

 My friend then asked him again: “Are you Ko Soo?” He smiled and said: “Yes”.

 I then spoke to him in English: “I think I know you.” He gave a dazzling smile and picked up his own camera, put his arm around me and took a picture of us. He was very nice. He readily took pictures with us. I had never seen such a nice movie star like him before. We then subsequently took some pictures with him with our own cameras. He was very friendly, not like a movie star at all. And he talked to us like we were friends. He spoke to my friend in Korean about the weather in England and wished her a successful graduation. He then went on to say that his new movie would be released in October and he hoped that we would support him by seeing his movie. When we left, he wished us "have fun" in English! He looked much better in person than in photograph. Though he had some wrinkles around his eyes and not very tall, he had a good physic. I am not here to boast, but to be able to meet a Korean movie star in England, and one whom I know, is not an easy feat at all.

When I reached home, I searched for information on him at the Baidu website and posted my encounter with him here to share with everyone. I guess he must have been very happy to meet a Chinese who still recognizes him in England. He had a very pleasant disposition and there were no airs around him. I hope more and more people will like him. Today, he was doing a photo shoot with a female model in similar attire. The girl was very thin and not too pretty. I don’t know her at all. I think very soon all of you will be seeing his photos taken at Cambridge. I don’t know how to upload the pictures. เขานิสัยดีมาก เขาถ่ายรูปกับเราอย่างเต็มใจ ฉันไม่เคยเห็นดาราคนไหนเหมือนโกซู มาก่อน
