Actor Ko Soo (33) doesn’t use Social Network Service (SNS) such as Twitter or Facebook. I met Ko Soo at a café in Seoul on 15th July and found out the reason why he does not use SNS.
“SNS seems to be the culture now. But I prefer a direct face-to-face meeting to communicate better. Analog still seems to suit me better”, said Ko Soo.
Ko Soo prefers a direct face-to-face meeting. Finding a place for such a meeting is a problem. But enthusiastic fans yearn for a place to have direct communication with Ko Soo. Therefore, OhmyNews made preparations for a ‘place’ for Ko Soo to connect with his fans. Fans were told to send questions which they would like to ask Ko Soo via Twitter and the reporter will hand these questions to Ko Soo for reply. The interview will therefore proceed in this manner.
After explaining to Ko Soo how the interview will be conducted, this pretty-boy actor gave a killer smile and said, “Thank you very much for making it possible to communicate with fans without actually using SNS”. He then proceeded with his dialogue with the twitterians in a serious manner.
Q (@kdj6437): What are the high points and low points of filming GOJIJEON?
Ko Soo: After 6 months of filming, I was really tired. Life was pretty lonely. It’s quite difficult to pick out the low points. It was perhaps the cold weather and the set which wasn’t comfortable. On hearing “action!”, we had to run frantically uphill and we had to run around bends. But it wasn’t only me. Hundreds of my friends had to run together with me to fill the screen. It’s a movie that is value-for-money and not to be missed. In fact, I want to take this opportunity of recommending this movie. It is not a movie that will disappoint in the end.
Q (@kissing111): I’d like to know your thoughts about being away from the screen for such a long time and what are your future plans?
Ko Soo: Indeed, PSYCHIC wrapped in September last year and I went on to film GOJIJEON the very next day. I continued working after PSYCHIC ended, without rest. Now, for the first time, it shows that I really worked. I am very happy that I have been missed. But I have been filming all the while. I am here now to present GOJIJEON and I hope it will be well received. First, the movie will be released on the 20th and I will be doing stage greetings. The production crew and staff have worked very hard and they look forward to seeing a lot of audiences. My next project has not been decided yet.
Q (@lovek_5): What’s the difference between filming a movie and a TV drama?
Ko Soo: A TV drama always operates at full capacity for 24 hours. When shooting a drama, there is no rest, really. From my experience shooting a movie so far, if shooting takes place in the morning (afternoon) – we rest at night. If shooting takes place at night – we rest during morning (afternoon). The schedule is almost like that. A drama schedule is a little more ‘deadly’ and strenuous physically.
Q (@a_syoung): Would Ko Soo oppa marry me?
Ko Soo: (With an embarrassed smile). 
There are many good people. You will meet a better person.
Q (@kissing111): How would you feel if there’s someone who is a fan when she was a child 10 years ago and is now an adult?
Ko Soo: I will be very happy if I were to meet an old fan or an old friend, especially if they still remain a fan or friend after so many years.
What are the hopes and aspirations of Ko Soo who has been in show business for 13 years?
Since his discharge from the army, Ko Soo has been running around film sets without taking a break, from movie WHITE NIGHT, drama WISFC, movie PSYCHIC to the summer 2011 movie GOJIJEON.

คราวนี้เป็นครั้งแรกเลยที่ผมทำงานจริงๆ ผมมีความสุขมากเพราะว่าผมอยากจะทำอย่างนี้มาตั้งนานแล้ว
แต่ผมถ่ายทำมาตลอดระยะหนึ่งและตอนนี้ก็อยากจะเสนอหนังเรื่องนี้ และหวังว่าจะได้รับการตอบรับที่ดี

การถ่ายละครจะต้องใช้เวลา 24 ชั่วโมง ไม่มีการพัก จริงๆ แล้วจากประสบการณ์ของผมที่ถ่ายหนังมาจนถึงเดี๋ยวนี้
ถ้าเริ่มถ่ายทำในตอนเช้าหรือบ่าย จะได้พักในตอนกลางคืน หรือถ้าเริ่มถ่ายตอนกลางคืนจะได้พักในตอนเช้าหรือบ่าย
ตารางงานก็จะเป็นแบบนี้แหละครับ ตารางงานละครจะโหดและตรากตรำมากกว่า
